12:30 in Bangkok Airport
So, its been a relaxing, and uneventful morning. Both of us were up early, and hit up an ‘American Breakfast’….Now you know how people say that Chinese food in Canada is different then the ‘real’ stuff? Well, American breakfast is different here than the real stuff. That was our first adventure.
We decided to mosey around the hotel a little bit which we got to by going down a dark alley last night. With things a tad brighter this morning the area seemed to be busy. There was a creek, or maybe a river, that was infested with really big fish everywhere. They sort of reminded me of dog fish but bigger. Then we rolled up onto a temple which we between our two brilliant minds have decided may have been a sanctuary for the dead. We didn’t get chased out by the monks who were keeping an eye on yes and the random dogs didn’t’ seem to mind us being there either. Another thing to make it feel like we are getting just a little closer to our Aha moment.
Did you know I am traveling with a petty thief? I say this, cause at the moment, I am writing this from a Bangkok Airways Business class lounge….which is cool…but, I mean, we ain’t flying business…and even better, not even flying Bangkok Air. Michele decided it looked like a comfy place to make home for our 90 minute wait, and just walked in. As she has pointed out to me, already, yes…I really am enjoying these comfy chairs much more than the hard metal ones at the gate. Thanks Michele, you two-bit hustler!
Peace,
